What is Motivating You: Fear or Love

Behind everything we do there is a vibrational intention. And within this intention is the driving motivation coming from a place of fear or a place of love?

What do you want to bring to the world and how do you want to live? From a place of fear? Or from a place of love?

So much of our world is driven by fear. So many underlying motivations stem from fears. And half the time, we don’t even realize that fear is the underlying motivation.

I just departed a corporate company where much of the culture was driven by fear. And what is quite wild is that everyone was used to this and ok with this. Fear manifests in different ways such as control, a sense of lack, unfulfillment, judgement, etc.

Much of the modern workplace is driven by fear.

Fear of not having enough money.

Fear of not being enough for other people.

Fear of failure.

We overwork ourselves, we strive for monetary gain, we drive for KPI’s and we micromanage and control outcomes because we are motivated by our fears.

And these fears are so ingrained in us and so ingrained in the collective consciousness that we don’t even realize that this is what is driving us forward.

Our need to prove ourselves.

Our need to succeed.

Our need to be better than other.

These all come from deep seeded fears in the ego consciousness.

These fears cause us to churn ourselves in circles. They cause us to have health problems from stress and overworking. They cause us to feel depleted. They cause us to feel unfulfilled or like something is missing.

And fear is not just abundant in the workplace. It’s everywhere.

I recently asked a person why they were helping with an organization and the answer was not from love (although their intentions were good), but they answered from a place of fear.

We are so completely and utterly driven by our fears and this is how so much of our society is structured and built upon.

It’s quite wild.

If we take a step back and look at this.

And bring awareness to our fears. And be really, really honest with ourselves. We can see our fears for what they are. And then we don’t need to be motivated by them. We can let go of them and live from a different place.

We don’t have to live like this.

What is the opposite of fear?

Love.

What happens if our world was driven from the motivation of love?

Love is abundance.

Love is unity.

Love is freedom.

Love is peace.

Love is balance and serenity.

Love is creative expression.

Love is joy.

Now doesn’t that sound like a better place to operate from?

Love creates heart centered decisions.

And those decisions can manifest a life that is so different from what we are used to.

It can create flow where ‘work’ is not about striving and driving but about being in alignment and flow where synchronicities and abundance happen in perfect harmony.

It creates plenty of free time to do the things you truly love.

It creates creative expression and pure enjoyment in whatever you are doing.

It enables peaceful decision making. Harmony with others. A calmer pace in life that is fulfilling and joyful.

You do things not because you have to, but because you want to. Because you love what you are doing. And because it just feels right.

It culminates in work that is deliberate and thoughtful. There is no overworking. There is no over producing.

There is simplicity and beauty in the flow.

Instead of posting to social 7 days a week, you post once. But the energy behind it is more powerful than the 7 posts combined.

Or you write one article instead of churning out twenty blog posts. But that one article has so much positive energy behind it because you did it from a place of joy that others feel this and the effectiveness is so much more powerful.

You work with five clients you deeply connect with versus twenty that drain your energy.

You follow your joy and pursue creative outlets and expressions in your work that then ricochets into the collective conscious vibrational energy field and are so much more effective. People sub consciously feel that energy and it is so much more powerful.

This is what love brings to the table.

It brings an energy that is potent and beautiful and powerful. Fear energy does not have this power. It does not have this effectiveness.

What happens if we all started operating from this place of being motivated by love?

It sounds like a pretty great place to me.

I’ll see you there!
