Alignment Marketing
In my previous professional career I was a marketer. To be totally honest I am not entirely sure how I even became a marketer. When I really think about it, I sometimes question what led me to becoming a marketer. I think I can zero in on two reasons. The first being I love to creatively tell stories. And the second being that I was very much being driven by my ego at the time and a marketing profession seemed dignified and cool. Who really knows…lol.
But there I was–a marketer. To give some context however, I was not marketing fast-fashion, or pharmaceuticals, or sugar infused food to children. I actually was truly passionate about what I was marketing--skiing and being outside in nature. I worked for a ski resort and we marketed ski vacations. But we didn’t just market skiing–we also marketed our company values. And these values were actually incredibly rare for that day and age. We were pushing sustainability initiatives long before they were a trend as well as diversity, love, acceptance, unity and respect.
As I have since transitioned out of the world of the traditional workplace, I have had some realizations surrounding the future of marketing and what marketing might look like as the planet’s shift in consciousness continues.
Marketing is no longer going to be about constant content. The digital churn. The being across every channel, all the time. It’s not going to be about ‘targeting audiences’ or refining your KPI’s. It’s not going to ‘brainwash’ people into thinking they need something. Or tell you how happy you are going to be when you buy a certain product. It’s not going to be about churning and grinding and spinning out 100’s of ads. It’s not going to be about personalization through data driven eCRM platforms or cheeky TikTok videos.
It’s going to be about alignment.
You are probably wondering, ok great, but what the heck does that mean?
Alignment marketing is all about telling a real story. And not a story about how someone will feel better with some miracle drug. It’s going to be about how nature and trees heal our souls. How wildlife and trees clean away negative energy.
Alignment marketing is about the process and creativity and joy. When someone feels called to put something out there from their heart, from their creative spirit and they do it with such love and joy. People feel this. They resonate with this. It moves them.
Alignment marketing is about breaking all the rules and being creative and innovative and doing whatever calls from your soul. And when this comes from a place of integrity and light. It is powerful. It is so much more powerful. It’s a vibrational resonance that people naturally magnetize towards if it’s something of interest to them or meant to come into their lives.
It’s all about alignment and vibration.
Honestly I don’t even think we need to call it marketing anymore. It’s simply bringing your joy to the world for others to vibrationally connect with. And that resonance and connection will be beautiful and natural and fluid. So there is no over posting necessary. There is no striving and driving and stressing. It will simply happen naturally through the creative energy of the universe.
The future generation is going to be so much more discerning and energy aligned that we can even imagine. They are afterall starseeds. I am mom to two of them. And my four year old has a powerful BS meter.
Traditional marketing is no longer going to work. It’s going to crumble. And rebirth a new way of energy alignment where whatever you put out into the world you will vibrationally get back.
So if you radiate and embody love, light, joy, abundance, creativity, etc. in whatever you are doing. Whether that be as an electrician, artist, chef, musician, architect,etc.--if you are doing your work from a place of love and pure joy–you will be successful. Because people will resonate with this alignment and energy and the right customer at the right time will be drawn to you naturally, through no means of stress, striving or driving or over working or churning out marketing. It will be so wonderful and beautiful and enjoyable.
This honestly isn’t even our future. It’s right here. Right now.
So whatever you decide to do next. Stop. Take three deep breaths. Ground yourself, and simply come from your joy.
