Remember to Come from the Heart
Within my life, the actions I am most honored and appreciative of always came from my heart.
They weren’t for the result. They weren’t for an achievement. They honestly weren’t even for the betterment of myself or had anything to do with ‘me’ per se. They weren’t about getting a promotion or winning a race.
They came from pure love.
I am most appreciative of my dedication and work in envisioning, planning and hosting International Women’s day events with the sole purpose of continuing to shine light on moving towards a gender equal world.
And I am also incredibly grateful and appreciative of my love guiding me towards dedicating my time and commitment to building wildlife crossings for animals in the valley where I live.
My heartbreak as I watched animals being slaughtered and left for dead along the side of our Highway and my heartbreak in knowing that women are by no means a ‘lesser than’ sex–this is what propelled me to act. My heart. My love. My empathy and compassion.
In other occurrences it has been my ego or my feelings of inadequacy from groveling entirely outside of myself for the things that only exist within me–they never left the imprint nor impression that my heart based actions have.
As I was meditating tonight–I had a powerful reminder come through about doing this work: I am doing this because of my love of humanity, animals, and our beautiful mother earth.
It’s all in your heart.
And yes you are so much more than just your mind and your physical body. Your heart is not just a pumping organ in your body–it’s a life force center, an intuitive and intelligent energy that does not actually have to only reside within your heart area, but can also expand and encompass the entirety of you.
It is time for us all to remember what it is like to also live from our hearts. Because just living from the mind leaves us disconnected from our love. Disconnected from our true life force power.
May the beauty of your heart-center shower the world with radiant gifts, passions, and abundance.
I honor and bow to your heart.
