The Divine Feminine

When I first began digging into spiritual texts and reading all I could about the journey of self-realization, I will never forget thinking how ‘male dominated’ it still seemed to me. Many top gurus and teachers still seemed to be male–like Thich Nhat Hanh and Adyashanti.

We all know that the major players throughout history that come to the forefront when you think of spiritual prowess and enlightenment are mostly male–Jesus, Buddha, the Dalai Lama.

I would silently ask myself in my head, where was the divine feminine representation?

As I continued to circle closer to the truth of my own self-realization, I magnetized more and more of the power-house divine feminine teachers and guides. Isira. Maria Erving. Sara Landon. Kaia Ra.

They are there. We are all here. It’s there. The rising tide of divine feminine to meet and match the divine masculine to alchemize into perfect wholeness.

Our world, both our inner worlds and outer worlds, are incomplete without the magnificence of the divine feminine.

After thousands and thousands of years of patriarchal domination–the time has come to honor the mighty truth of the divine feminine and bring ourselves into completeness through the perfection of male/female perfect unity.

Enough is enough. It is time.

It is time for the feminine to awaken within all of us–not just women. It is time to unleash the healing womb, the intuition, the creativity, the magic of the divine feminine.

She is the real em-power-ment–so much more and beyond what the singular masculine power evokes.

It is time for us all to fully embrace the equal parts divine feminine and masculine of source.

What might this look like in our daily lives?

My friends. My ladies. My mothers. My wives. My sisters. My daughters. My goddesses.

You don’t have to carry the burden of the entire household on your shoulders anymore.

You don’t have to be the ‘sole’ caretaker of the children.

You don’t have to be soft, you don’t have to people please, you don’t need to shy away from your voice.

You are a powerhouse. Your voice is your birthright, your will is your own and your equality is not based on your biological predisposition as a weaker sex. No, the patriarchal society made that up.

YOU ARE A FREAKING GODDESS.

And it’s time for us to stop playing the role of placating and enabling the patriarchy. We continue to bang our heads against the wall as we continue to attempt to ‘smash the glass ceiling’ in a system that was built for the sole purpose of elevating patriarchal dominance.

Nope. We don’t need to bend ourselves to this anymore. It’s time to be the MOLDER. WE can define a completely new way of operating. WE can shape, and shift and mold a new paradigm that honors the divine feminine in perfect balance and equality to the divine masculine. A holy unification that births LOVE, JOY, FREEDOM, and PEACE.

It’s time for us to stop.

STOP melding your divine feminine heritage to the patriarchal system. It’s time to MOLD. It’s time to bring forth your divine, goddess, heartcenter into the world. And shape it anew.

What could this look like? You tell me–your heart center knows. Your divine feminine knowing knows.

For me–bringing the divine feminine into the world looks more like this:

Letting go of any further societal programming around how women are supposed to run the household. In my house–my husband handles breakfast for the kids every day. I always cook dinner. We are equal partners and I don’t make myself feel bad about this.

More rest. More daydreaming. More time to let the creative energy within me be birthed from the source womb.

No partaking in hierarchical structure and critique. I want to partner and connect with people on equal footing. Where I honor and know that they equally have a higher self and are also pure goddess/god source light.

A deep caring for animals–ALL animals. A deep caring for our Mother Gaia.

More dancing. More glitter (DUH).

Speaking boldly through my heartcenter

To me the wholeness of honoring both the divine feminine and masculine in myself can look like this:

Shining my heart and honoring others with bestowing kindness while speaking my bold, honest truth and setting compassionate boundaries

Caring for the natural world while ensuring it still maintains its fierce wildness. (for example connecting my heart center and praying for a deer, but never feeding them in the act of enabling dependency)

The soft voice and hug to a toddler while also stating that hitting hurts and is not ok

The balance and unity of the divine feminine and masculine is beautiful.

It brings our world into a deep, deep connected wholeness that culminates in so much more love, so much more empowerment, so much more experiences into the fullness of our divinity.

I am so honored to be a part of the era where we finally bring this back into balance.

We are here to do this. We are here to FINALLY uplift the divine feminine to Her rightful place. So that She can shower us with the glory of our complete and unified magnificence.

Goddesses it is time. Those that feel called to enliven the divine feminine in themselves it’s time (and yes this includes so many men).

Let the tides of the rising divine feminine wash away our wounds, clear away our ego’s grasp and renew us into our magical divinity.

To the women who have been persecuted for thousands of years, to the women who have been subjugated to the force of the male, to the women who have held silent, to the women who continue to try to meld into our current paradigm–I SEE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I HONOR YOU, AND INVOKE YOU TO SET YOURSELF FREE.

IT IS TIME. Awaken the goddess within. And IGNITE!
